BAWOR CUP 2011

         NDESO (Ngapak Debater Society) was a group that consisted by Purwokerto`s Debaters conducted an annual events that was national debating championship only for varsities level called as BAWOR CUP. This event had just conducted since 2 years ago, 2010 as the 1st tournament and 2011 as the 2nd tournament.

       BAWOR CUP conducted in Purwokeerto only, this event had purpose especially to promote "Mendoan" city in national level. in BAWOR CUP used British Parliamentary System that using all impromptu motions in each matches.

       This was the time for EFEC debaters to join english debate in national level after they joining in UNSOED scope. They wanted to feel of how national debating championship reaally was. EFEC sent 4 teams in BAWOR CUP 2011 : EFEC UNSOED A (Algi & Bonar), EFEC UNSOED B (Nurma & Qais), EFEC UNSOED C (Anes & Cecil) EFEC UNSOED D (Nunes & Shofri) and 4 Adjudicators (Arbi, Shinta, Annisa, Anna).

LCDC (Last Competition Discussion Club)Education department have many program in EFEC one of them is DC called as Discussion Club. Discussion Club is a work program that facilitate Economic Students on how to improve their capability in English seems like speaking on how to creates brave for the member to use English on conversation in Discussion Club, listening on how to understand what the others people speak in English carefully, reading on how to say pronunciation for each words that using in English correctly, writing on how to make sentences or paragraph using English correctly.

              This work program already conducted till the end of the program period. So for celebrating the DC work program, EFEC has occasion to facilitate all of the members of EFEC get satisfaction in the end of their DC that is LCDC (Last Competition Discussion Club).

LCDC is an occasion that consist of game, sharing and gathering those activities can create closer relationship, have fun, solidarity among the member of EFEC that already joined on DC. For providing the member to know each other, all of the members divided into several team and each team’s member comes from different group of DC so they can know the other members from different group of DC.

              EFEC provides 5 posts in LCDC, each post had different game with the other posts so it will never ever create bored for the member but inversely they were having fun. First post, in this post each team got the game that was rearranging the words into the right one sentences, they only had 5 minutes for finishing the game to get the point, because all of the game will give the points and give them reward. Second post, there would be given “YES” or “NO” game EFEC gave them many questions, and then they must answer all of the questions. Third post was “direction” game that one of the representatives of each team must be closed their eyes by using slip cover and then they would be directed by their mate to finish the game. Forth post was gambling/guessing game by using manner, one of the team must show their action to be guessed by the other one. Fifth post was water game, because in this post used the water or they must enter to the rill, all of the member of the team must throw the ping pong ball to the others one.All of the sessions were creating had fun for the.

           For your information EFEC would conduct next DC that more different with the last DC. So if you want to join DC just wait the next DC that will be held on July. So keep your spirit guys for conducting next DC.

Great Congratulation for the new PO

                Well. Well. EFEC has many work programs actually, those the program has own characteristic and different each other, none each program will be same or even near to be same. To creates the best occasion for each work prto find pogram EFEC need  who are the proper one to lead its occasion, because the proper leader will creates the greates occasion, all of responsibility for conducting the occasion is depending on the leader.

The wok program in EFEC right now that need the leader are SOLDIERS (Solidarity of EFECers) and EFEC Vaganza. Sooldiers and EFEC Vaganza is really different, Soldiers is a familiarity night for the members of EFEC that consist of two parties those are old member who want to join familiarity night again and new member who are new comers in Economics Faculty, in Soldiers thee will be creates familiarity, solidarity, togetherness, friendship  etc. meanwhile EFEC Vaganza in an occasion that consist of the competition such as debate, talkshow and rendevouz party.

So because of that, to conduct the great event EFEC must choose the leader or called as Project Officer to lead those events, and the requirement that must be fulfilled are he or she must become organizer of EFEC, responsible, have leadership skill, commitment, confident, loyal etc. By screening process that already conducted by Top Man of EFEC, many organizers enroll those screening to become the Project Officer.

12th IFDC (Inter Faculty Debating Championship) 2011

                SEF (Student English Forum) already conducted English debate competition called IFDC, what is IFDC ?? IFDC was abbreviation from Inter Faculty Debating Championship was an annually event that must be followed by 8 faculties those are Social and Political Faculty, Animal Science Faculty, Science and Engineering Faculty, Law Faculty, Economics Faculty, Medical and Health Sciencees Faculty, Agriculture Faculty, Biolgy Faculty.

            Economics Faculty  sent 3 teams and 2 adjudicators, Debaters are Economics A (Danti, Algi, Qais), Economics B (Rahma, Alfian, Alan), Economics C (Cecil, Bonar, Annes) and Adjudicators are Nurma and Shinta. Economics delegations already prepared it well for facing the 12^th IFDC. For the day Economics did their best, for  preliminary 1 till 3 Econimics B and C was undefeated, unfortunately they defeated in preliminary , but for Economics A was undefeated till Semi Final within Economics C defeated.

            For the final round Economics C was grand finalist after getting win from Economics A, so Economics A was 2^nd Runner Up and Economics B must be stopped till quarter final. Economics C met with Science and Engineering E in final round with the motion THS Independent Precident Candidate, Economics C as Affirmative team and Science and Engineering E as Negative team.

EFEC on Air (EoA)

             Hi.. Hi.. we welcome you to join with EFEC on Air. EFEC on Air was a work program that organized by Pubic Relation Department of EFEC. This work program had aim to introduce EFEC outside of campus, EFEC join with PRO 2 99.0 f.m. radio on this rogram EFEC always sent delegation to become announcer to be representatives of EFEC, and the representatives absolutely came from the organizer of EFEC. Beside that EFEC also gave the guest star to be interviewed and digged their knowledge, experience and so on that could make this program interesting.

            Yup-yup EFEC was conducting this occasion every Saturday at 04.00 p.m. continuously running excpt for the first week of each month. However this occasion would be greatful hence each week EFEC served different theme that made listener addicted and excited, as the theme was being taken by EFEC which unusual theme means in every week was so different and the announcer also being rolled, so it would never ever make you bored but conversely.

            The theme which already brought were about our beloved city that were included into big 5 candidate to become new capital ciy, nicab issue in france told muslimah there got different treatment or not and so on, definitely every week was very different theme.

           On this program also provided to listener for sending their suggestion, addition, aspiration and so on that could make this occasion became interactive and active between announcer and listener. So for all of you guys just listen and stay to hear EFEC on PRO 2 99.0 f.m. radio.
