THW blame Bank Indonesia for Citybabnk case

       Again and again 2nd RDE was conducted by EFEC, yesterday RDE held in front of secretariat UKM/HIMA centre at 03.30 p.m. the ltest RDE used different with the 1st RDE that using Asian parliamentary, but the 2nd used British Parliamentary, BP (British parliamentary) was consist pf 2 benches those are Government bench and opposition bench, but in this BP each bench divide into 2 part half those are opening half and closing half, so in BP consist of 4 team each team has 2 debaters, those the team Fian and Anes as Opening Government, Hafidz and Bonar as Opening Oppositon, Alan and Dian Annisa as Closing Government, Fandy and Algi as Closing Oppostion, and Nurma as Adjudicator.

       Yesterday EFEc had conducted RDE with the great attention from Economics Students. This was the resume of the latest RDE, OG (opening Government) offer the problem and open what is the real happen in Citybank and proved that BI proper to be blamed by the Indonesia Government, OO (Opening Opposition) negated what OG argument, and prove that BI not proper to be blamed by Indonesia Government and proved that the real problem was coming from Citybank, CG (Closing Government) negateed the case that already brought by OO and showed the case that Citybank was not failed for the case, CG (Closing Government) was negated what the case that had already brought by CG, and CO must be proved that the Citybank was the one that proper to be blamed by Indonesia Government not Bank Indonesia because Citybank did not obeyed to Bi regulation and Citybank had no tight regulation for preventing the fraud action by its worker.

       And For the result Nurma as Adjudicator decided Opening Opposition as the 1st position, Closing Oppositon as the 2nd position, Closing Opposition as the 3rd position, and Opening Opposition as the 4th position.

So lets waiting for the 3rd RDE next month.

12th IFDC (Inter Faculty Debating Championship) 2011

                SEF (Student English Forum) already conducted English debate competition called IFDC, what is IFDC ?? IFDC was abbreviation from Inter Faculty Debating Championship was an annually event that must be followed by 8 faculties those are Social and Political Faculty, Animal Science Faculty, Science and Engineering Faculty, Law Faculty, Economics Faculty, Medical and Health Sciencees Faculty, Agriculture Faculty, Biolgy Faculty.

            Economics Faculty  sent 3 teams and 2 adjudicators, Debaters are Economics A (Danti, Algi, Qais), Economics B (Rahma, Alfian, Alan), Economics C (Cecil, Bonar, Annes) and Adjudicators are Nurma and Shinta. Economics delegations already prepared it well for facing the 12^th IFDC. For the day Economics did their best, for  preliminary 1 till 3 Econimics B and C was undefeated, unfortunately they defeated in preliminary , but for Economics A was undefeated till Semi Final within Economics C defeated.

            For the final round Economics C was grand finalist after getting win from Economics A, so Economics A was 2^nd Runner Up and Economics B must be stopped till quarter final. Economics C met with Science and Engineering E in final round with the motion THS Independent Precident Candidate, Economics C as Affirmative team and Science and Engineering E as Negative team.

Our WORK PROGRAM

FEC already had many work program for serving toward Economics faculty, one of them is Regular Debate Exhibition which is coming from Education Department`s work program. Regular Debate Exhibition is a debate exhibiton which will be conducted regularaly for each month, RDE as a simulation of dabate which consist of 2 teams those are Affirmative or Government which support the motion and Negative or opposition which oppose the proposal of the Affirmative or Government .

The 1^st RDE has already been conducted by EFEC.at March, 31^st  2011 at white field in Econoics Faculty, and this work program ran as well as hope. The Motion which already debated in the RDE is THW Disband the WTO, the motion talking about the existence of WTO right now couldn`t run well, but on the other hand the existence of WTO was running well and badly very important for regulating the international trading among each country to do bilateral or multilateral trading.  The Debaters who cavorted in the last RDE were Affirmative ( Danti, Rahma, Algi ) and Negative ( Cecil, Bonar, Qais ) and also for Ajudicator EFEC was Inviting Mrs. Poppy Dian Indira Kusuma.

10 tips to improve the way you speak English

i. Observe the mouth movements of those who speak English well and try to imitate them.

When you are watching television, observe the mouth movements of the speakers. Repeat what they are saying, while imitating the intonation and rhythm of their speech.

ii. Until you learn the correct intonation and rhythm of English, slow your speech down.

If you speak too quickly, and with the wrong intonation and rhythm, native speakers will have a hard time understanding you. 

Don't worry about your listener getting impatient with your slow speech -- it is more important that everything you say be understood. 

iii. Listen to the 'music' of English.  
Do not use the 'music' of your native language when you speak English. Each language has its own way of 'singing'. 

iv. Use the dictionary.

Try and familiarise yourself with the phonetic symbols of your dictionary. Look up the correct pronunciation of words that are hard for you to say.

TRAINING MOTIVATION

                 already run the great agenda, that’s Training Motivation. Training Motivation was an agenda which be conducted only for EFEC organizers. Every single organizers must came to this agenda, because this agenda was really very important which could creates the motivation for all of EFEC organizers to undertook the jobs in EFEC.

            Training Motivaion already be held on Saturday, March 19^th 2011 at B 201 building and this training started at 08.00 am-06.00 p.m. There were many agenda in this training such as motivation building, sharing, games ( 1^st rank, missing lyric, tag line competition, caricatures competition and so on) and also we must wrote our 5 dremas and 5 important things. this agenda were very giving the plesure, happiness, and creating togetherness also familiarity among each organizers. All of organizers felt enjoy and comfort for running this training motivation, because every single agenda gave many beneficials things for all of organizers.

            SECRETARY

This Departement has function for developing and maximizing to sake EFEC, Facilitating a good administration, responsible toward completeness of administration, inventorying the data of organizers, members and basecamp tools and also making the internal regulation related with administration and base camp.

TRESURER

Treasurer has role to concern in mainainance and administration of funds, generate revenue, and keep financial records for each expenditure and needs for EFEC.
